Fire Safety Consultant

Oakleaf Surveying Ltd, a part of The Oakleaf Group, is looking to recruit a fire safety consultant to become a part of their rapidly growing team. The role will be based at their head office in Northampton, and will include travel throughout the UK. The fire safety consultant role will include undertaking fire risk assessments, fire compartmentation surveys and providing fire consultancy to a range of different clients.

Our current clients include high profile Universities, Police forces, NHS as well as private sector clients. Full support and career progression will be available, including Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and driven, with a focus on providing a high quality service to all clients. Excellent communication skills and report writing are essential to the role.

Experienced Mechanical Building Services Surveyor

The Oakleaf Group is a growing property consultancy firm located in Northampton. The Oakleaf Group specialises in undertaking building surveys and audits in a variety of disciplines across a broad range of building and estate types across the entire UK.

This expanding and busy office seeks an experienced M&E surveyor for a permanent position to join its existing team of surveyors. The successful individual will report directly to board level.

Location: Nationwide 

Remuneration: Very competitive depending on experience, plus company car and benefits

We are looking for an experienced Surveyor to carry out/manage M&E condition surveys and asset registers to NHS Hospital Trusts, Schools, Universities as well as major corporate clients.

The successful candidate will be required to pass our competence assessment and take part in ongoing CPD training both internal and from external bodies.

The position will involve travel throughout the UK and some fully expensed overnight stays. A company car or generous mileage allowance is available.

CAD Technician

Oakleaf are recruiting an experienced CAD technician who is or who will be able to carry out measured building surveys using our tablet PC system and who would be willing to be trained to carry out energy audits, DEC surveys and Air Conditioning Audits. You must be able to meet clients when representing the company have a good attention to detail and produce top class CAD drawings and reports.

We are offering a salary up to £24,000 for the right candidate but are willing to take on someone with potential at a lower salary and grow them into the job.

There will either be a company vehicle or a fully expensed car scheme to be negotiated later. The role will involve extensive travel around the UK and fully expensed nights away when required.

Experienced Stock Condition Surveyor

The Oakleaf Group is a growing property consultancy firm located in Northampton. The Oakleaf Group specialises in undertaking building surveys and audits in a variety of disciplines across a broad range of building and estate types across the entire UK.

This expanding and busy office seeks an experienced stock condition surveyor for a permanent position to join its existing team of surveyors. The successful individual will report directly to board level.
You will have experience in undertaking stock condition surveys across a wide range of building types and have good knowledge of modern construction methods (including building services), typical defects, remedial works and building lifecycle costing. You are also expected to have good working knowledge of CAFM databases and have experience in stock condition survey data management. A good knowledge of statutory requirements including Asbestos, Legionella, Access Audits, Energy, and Fire will be viewed favourably.

Bid Support/Sales

The Oakleaf Group are seeking a highly self motivated individual to join our marketing team.

The Oakleaf Group is a growing property consultancy firm located in Northampton. The Oakleaf Group specialises in undertaking building surveys and audits in a variety of disciplines across a broad range of building and estate types across the entire UK.

We are looking for an individual to join the sales team in a support role to assist with writing tenders at PQQ and ITT stages and general administrative support for the sales team. 

While this role is initially more supportive in nature, there is the opportunity for the right candidate to develop their own client base and move into more of a client facing sales role as they gradually take on increasing responsibility within the team. Enjoying following up leads, closing opportunities and building relationships with clients

The position will also assist the Commercial Director in the provision of case studies, generic proposal content and bid templates, providing occasional Company-wide support as required.

The successful applicant will have strong organisational and administration skills, a methodical approach with good attention to detail, good IT skills, proven capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines where necessary.

The successful candidate will conduct themselves in a professional manner and will be proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and ideally a sales relationship managing software product (CRM)
