Oakleaf can provide accurate CAD plans as a stand-alone measured survey or with built in efficiencies as part of a wider project. CAD plans are often the key to understanding the estate and they provide a template for the future planning of works, maintenance and building alterations.

Having up to date CAD plans of your estate is a one of the basic requirements of Building Information Management (BIM). Moving towards level 2 compliance will also include managing the drawings and information – particularly Asset information and Backlog costs (via Condition Surveys and Asset Registers). We have many years experience in these disciplines and can assist with collecting this suite of information which will build up accurate life cycle costing.

The Measured Surveys can provide Floor Plans, Site Plans, Building Elevations, Building Sections and Roof Plans. We can assist with the required level of detail or work from a detailed brief provided to us. We can also update existing drawings or create CAD plans from PDF drawings.

We can also Polyline these measured surveys and plans so accurate space utilisation data can be worked out and the spaces linked through to relational databases, which are essential for CAFM systems to run their reports.

We also are able to use our engineers to collect data and plot the positions of building services across all types of estate, using existing CAD plans or carrying out new Measured Surveys.

We also are able to supply 3D modelling using high tech extremely accurate 360 degree survey tools, to both internal and external situations.

We can supply the drawings in any version of AutoCAD or in a PDF format.

All of our surveyors are DBS Screened and are used to all working environments.
