RESPONSIBILITY & PURPOSE:
As the principal accountable person, you must prepare and update the safety case report.
STEP 1:
Begin to prepare your Safety Case & Safety Management System
You should update your safety case report, for example, when:
- Improvement work is carried out to manage building safety risks
- Work on the building impacts building safety risks
- You should notify the Building Safety Regulator of any updates or revisions to your safety case report.
STEP 2:
Undertake a GAP analysis
REPORTING:
We may ask you to submit an updated copy of the report.
STEP 3:
Have a facility to be able to produce a safety case report, when called upon, to meet the 28 day application window
