We are pleased to announce that Oakleaf has secured a contract to provide fabric and M&E condition surveys for The University of Durham across their entire non-residential portfolio.

We are pleased to announce that Oakleaf has secured a contract to provide fabric and M&E condition surveys for The University of Durham across their entire non-residential portfolio.

The contract was awarded based on Oakleaf’s proven technical experience and expertise delivering surveying services, particularly within higher education.

The one-year project, which is already underway, will comprise a rooms-based survey throughout the estate.

Our Approach

Here’s a glimpse of our approach with The University of Durham:

• A full and robust desktop review of each building, prior to survey, in collaboration with The University’s estate team and building managers.
• Data is collated using pre-defined information made available from the client, once verified, it is uploaded directly to their CAFM system.
• There will be regular project review meetings with The University’s estate team focused on ensuring minimal interruptions to students and staff, together with evaluating project pace and data integrity.
• Oakleaf will present The University of Durham with written reports and a summary dashboard alongside a final presentation and workshop which will support a programme of works expenditure over a 15-year period.
