Project Background

Following a competitive tender Oakleaf were awarded a contract by the University Hospital of North Staffordshire (UHNS) to complete fire risk assessments and fire compartmentation surveys on 24 buildings across three sites. The timescales for the completion of the project were challenging, with a three month deadline being placed on the contract.

Working closely with the Trusts fire officer, Oakleaf developed a programme of works to visit each building, causing the minimum of disruption to the day-to-day activities of the building users. Initial pilot fire risk assessment and compartmentation reports were issued to the fire officer, which were then tweaked to suit the clients requirements.
