Project Background

As part of the growing trend towards financial independence, The Oakleaf Group undertook a detailed rooms-based condition review of Uppingham Community College on behalf of the school’s facilities team. Working in close conjunction with the premises manager and taking into account the limitations of the school’s maintenance budget, Oakleaf were able to provide a detailed five year investment plan to fit with the school’s ambitious standards.

The format of the report was altered to fit with the school’s own rooms information, something previous DfES surveys had not accounted for. This approach ensured that the school’s own in house teams had complete confidence in defect locations; the rooms information was also supplemented with detailed roof and elevation diagrams as is normal for Oakleaf’s Condition Surveys.
