With the impending requirement for all buildings occupied by public authorities or institutions providing public services and visited by the public (with a total useful floor area over 1,000m2) to have Display Energy Certificates (DEC) – Oakleaf are pleased to announce that we now have accredited persons under the CIBSE registration scheme who are authorized to carry out these duties.

This includes the preparation of Advisory Reports and the issue of the DEC and requires the data to be entered into government approved OR software and the DEC lodged with the government agency for annual retrieval.
The Advisory Report is valid for seven years from the date of issue but the DEC is valid for only one year.
For this reason Oakleaf are prepared to offer the annual energy use re-calculation at specially discounted rates providing that we have carried out the original assessments.

We are just undertaking all the DEC’s for Kettering General Hospital NHS Trust and Northampton Teaching Primary Care Trust.
