Project Background

The main control room at the Lynemouth power station looks directly onto the adjacent Turbine Hall. Due to the age of the power station there are a number of inherited fire risk issues that Lynemouth Power will have to tackle. Oakleaf were commissioned to carry out a detailed assessment of the whole of the Control Block together with LPG storage, Water Treatment Block, Oil Pump House and also identified the safe occupancy numbers within the Control Room.
